Community Fundraising Goal
(Phase 1) : $600,000

Phase one included new turf on Pony Lewis Field, replacing stadium bleachers, and building concession stands and restrooms now located behind the MHS band’s bleachers.

Community Fundraising Goal
(Phase 2) : $600,000

Phase two included the addition of a new scoreboard as well as the John Rockis & Johnny Hardesty Student Athlete Facility, which includes locker rooms, training rooms, and coaches’ offices. The new training facility was built in honor and remembrance of John Rockis- a former football coach who started the wrestling program at Morgantown High School, and his great nephew Johnny Hardesty for their accomplishments and dedication to MHS.

Community Fundraising Goal
(Phase 3) : $900,000

Phase three will be the construction of the Jacob D. Mullet Press Box, thanks to a substantial gift from the Mullet Family honoring a pillar in the Mon. County School System for over 30 years.

Community Fundraising Goal
(Phase 4) : $500,000

Funds are currently being raised for phase four, which will include the construction of a new weight training facility. All sports teams, as well as physical education classes, will have access to the training facility and benefit greatly from the fourth and final phase of Project Mohigan.

The Mohigans Athletic Facilities Project will total $6 million. This investment in MHS's athletic facilities will significantly impact all 21 varsity programs and address many of our critical facility needs.
